Products & Ingredients
Are your challah and bagels made fresh?
Yes! Everything is made to order with high quality ingredients and no fillers, no preservatives, and no artificial dyes
Do your platters include dips or spreads?
Yes, our crudité platters include a house-made dip. You can select from several options when ordering.
Do you offer gluten free challah and bagels?
Currently, no. Our commitment to using quality and nutritious ingredients is of utmost importance and we have not been able to make the quality of challah and bagels that we feel is up to our standards yet. We refuse to use binders and fillers that can be found in many traditional gluten free recipes as they are highly inflammatory and we want to provide you with products that make your bodies feel good. We are actively trying to find gluten free recipes that work, so the goal is to add this eventually.
Do you offer vegan or egg free options?
Yes! Each product should have a drop down menu for egg free and dairy free. If you have further questions on this, please email linnysloaves@gmail.com.
Freezing & Thawing
Can I freeze the challah and bagels?
Yes! Our challah and bagels freeze very well. When thawing, I recommend wrapping the bagels and challah in a very damp paper towel and microwaving for 30 seconds at a time as opposed to letting them thaw at room temp. The ice from the inside of the bread products, as well as the damp paper towel, create steam that helps rehydrate the bread products when microwaved.
How long can the challah and bread sit on the counter?
2-3 days on the counter and then we would recommend freezing. If the challah and bagels start to dry out on the counter, we recommend using a damp paper towel and microwaving for 30 seconds at a time to rehydrate the bagels and challah.
